Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Logistics Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with warehouse activity as well as delivery driving (Non-CDL). This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping fulfillment, packaging, and the use of equipment such as pallet jacks/fork lifts and RF scanners. The Logistics Support will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and efficiency.
Duties
- Safely operate equipment to transport goods to designated locations within warehouse.
- Label and assist with boxing as needed for delivery.
- Delivering occasional delivery in a timely manner and within required delivery window.
- Perform picking and packing duties in the warehouse to prepare orders for shipment.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products efficiently.
- Assist with order fulfillment by ensuring that all items are accurately picked and packed.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and manage deliveries effectively.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Box Truck Delivery Driver or in a similar role is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
