Position Objective – Liberty Landscape Supply is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to
support and execute the e-commerce strategy and day-to-day management of the company's online
sales channels. This individual will own the customer experience from product merchandising
to purchase, ensuring that Liberty's website remains accurate, engaging, and optimized
for growth.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator. They enjoy digging into data,
solving problems, collaborating across departments, and constantly improving the
customer experience. Success in this role means creating an online shopping
experience that is accurate, engaging, easy to navigate, and consistently contributes to
Liberty's continued growth.
Responsibilities of the E-Commerce Specialist:
E-Commerce Strategy and Performance
Execute Liberty's e-commerce strategy and recommend improvements to increase online
sales, average order value, and customer retention.
Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, conversion rate,
traffic, cart abandonment, and customer behavior.
Identify opportunities to improve website performance through
merchandising, promotions, user experience, and new functionality.
Recommend new features, technologies, and initiatives that support long-term
e-commerce growth.
Website and Product Management
Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, specifications,
photography, and inventory availability.
Organize products into intuitive collections and categories to improve
discoverability.
Coordinate seasonal product launches, promotions, and featured
collections.
Ensure website content is current, accurate, and aligned with Liberty's
brand standards.
Inventory and Store Coordination
Work closely with store leadership to maintain accurate inventory visibility
online.
Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams on new products,
discontinued items, and inventory changes.
Communicate regularly with all Liberty locations regarding online
availability, fulfillment, and product updates.
Identify inventory discrepancies and proactively resolve issues.
Digital Merchandising and Marketing
Collaborate with Liberty's internal marketing team and agency partners to
execute promotional campaigns.
Coordinate homepage updates, banners, landing pages, featured
products, and seasonal merchandising.
Support email marketing, SMS marketing, digital advertising, and social
media initiatives that drive e-commerce sales.
Ensure promotions are implemented accurately across all digital
platforms.
Customer Experience
Continuously test and optimize product pages, collections, promotions, and the purchase
journey to improve conversion rate and average order value.
Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring issues affecting online
sales.
Partner with customer service teams to resolve e-commerce-related
concerns and improve overall satisfaction.
Vendor and Platform Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for Shopify and other e-commerce
technology partners.
Coordinate with third-party vendors regarding integrations, enhancements,
troubleshooting, and platform improvements.
Evaluate new tools and technologies that improve operational efficiency or
customer experience.
Reporting and Measuring Success
Growth in e-commerce revenue.
Improvement in conversion rate and average order value.
Reduction in cart abandonment.
Product and inventory accuracy.
Timely execution of promotions and product launches.
Growth in qualified website traffic and repeat online customers.
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience, preferably Shopify.
Strong understanding of online merchandising, digital marketing, and ecommerce
best practices.
Experience managing product catalogs, inventory systems, and website content.
Comfortable interpreting sales reports and website analytics.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and outside vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
Shopify administration experience.
Familiarity with Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and Meta
Commerce.
Basic understanding of SEO and conversion rate optimization.
Experience with inventory management systems and ERP integrations.
Photography or product merchandising experience is a plus.
