Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:

Work with program staff in the Division of Family Health to draft scope of work documents for contracts and purchasing
-
Assist staff with developing strong outcome statements and contract reporting requirements. May consult with the DHHS Office of Innovation in developing these outcome measures.

Review and coordinate the preparation of scope of work documents for contracts for management
-
Work with DHHS Procurement and Contract Management staff to assist DFH staff to navigate contract processes
-
Conduct risk assessments on subawardees and contractors and complete the risk assessment process in Sharepoint
-
May work with staff to set up contract monitoring plans in Sharepoint
-
Meets and confers with management, users, and contract providers to resolve problems and coordinate services
-
Assures that Division of Family Health staff have completed the proper DHHS contract/grant processes
-
May work with staff to complete Agreement/Procurement Requests
Qualifications
Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:

Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken word
-
Good interpersonal skills, motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision and meet established deadlines
Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:
-
Understanding of results-based accountability and how to formulate strong outcome measures

Ability to learn federal and/or state laws, legal codes, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules
