Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.

Perform comprehensive technical reviews of staff-prepared returns, ensuring accuracy and minimal partner review notes.

Conduct specialized tax research regarding complex corporate, multi-state, and transactional tax matters.

Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to legally minimize federal and state tax liabilities for client entities.

Act as a direct point of contact for client inquiries, coordinate missing documentation requests, and assist with IRS or state tax notices.
Must-Have Qualifications

3 or more years of progressive tax compliance and preparation experience within public accounting.

Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing complex corporate (Form 1120/1120S) and partnership (Form 1065) returns.

Active CPA license or clear progression as an active CPA candidate.

Strong organizational habits needed to manage multiple filing deadlines efficiently during peak tax seasons.

Direct communication skills required to mentor staff and communicate effectively with corporate clients.
