American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Rural Health Primary Care Clinic position in Pagosa Springs, CO, requiring Cerner EMR experience and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Outpatient clinic setting within a Critical Access Hospital environment

Rural Health Primary Care Clinic department

Primary care patient population including chronic disease management, triage, and preventive care

Monday–Friday schedule with 10-hour day shifts
-
No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements

Cerner EMR experience required
-
Active Colorado RN license or compact RN license currently in good standing
-
Current AHA BLS certification
-
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience

Cerner EMR experience required

Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment

Responsibilities include patient triage, assessments, care planning, medication administration, immunizations, point-of-care testing, and CLIA-waived lab procedures

Manages patient phone calls, portal messages, and nursing advice using established protocols

Coordinates care with physicians, NPs, PAs, specialists, and ancillary departments

Serves as a clinical resource for patients and clinic staff while supporting quality improvement initiatives
-
Previous Rural Health Clinic, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience is preferred

Experience with CLIA-waived laboratory testing and supporting quality/patient engagement programs is a plus
