Oregon Taxi is seeking professional Independent Contractor Taxi Operators who want the freedom to operate their own transportation business using a leased commercial taxi vehicle.
Our dispatch network operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, giving independent contractors the flexibility to decide when and how often they operate within the terms of their lease agreement.
As an Independent Contractor, you lease a fully licensed commercial taxi vehicle, purchase your own fuel, and retain all fares and tips after payment of your daily lease. Your earnings are directly related to the time and effort you choose to invest.
Responsibilities
· Safely transport passengers throughout Eugene, Springfield, and surrounding communities.
· Provide professional, courteous customer service.
· Maintain the leased vehicle in a clean, presentable, and fueled condition during the lease period.
· Operate in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
· Meet insurance, licensing, lease agreement, and dispatch participation requirements.
· Manage your own daily business activities while utilizing Oregon Taxi's dispatch network.
Minimum Qualifications
· Be at least 25 years of age.
· Have a valid Oregon Driver License.
· Have at least three years of licensed driving experience.
· Maintain an acceptable driving record.
· Pass a criminal background check.
· Pass a drug screening, including marijuana, as required by insurance or contract requirements.
· Be eligible to obtain RideSource Certification.
· Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Compensation
Independent Contractors retain all fares and customer tips after payment of the applicable daily vehicle lease and operating expenses.
Many contractors earn approximately $100–$300+ per day, depending upon the hours they choose to operate, customer demand, and individual productivity.
