About Us
Salimi Management LLC is a growing construction management consulting firm providing project management, construction management, scheduling, cost estimating, and owner’s representative services for public agencies throughout California. Our clients include airports, transportation agencies, cities, counties, ports, and other public entities.
We’re looking for a highly organized, outgoing, and ambitious Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with less than five years of experience who wants to build a career in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
What You’ll Do
- Attend client meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Represent Salimi Management professionally with public agencies and industry partners.
- Coordinate and prepare Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and interview presentations.
- Maintain proposal calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with technical staff to gather project information and resumes.
- Assist with marketing materials, brochures, website updates, and social media.
- Help identify upcoming project opportunities and track procurement schedules.
- Maintain CRM databases and client relationships.
- Coordinate teaming partners and subcontractor information.
- Support executive leadership with business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, proposal coordination, or administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for client-facing meetings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles as needed.
