Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales, handle cash register operations, and manage retail transactions smoothly.
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items, specials, or promotions.
- Assist in processing cash transactions accurately while ensuring quick service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and giving correct change.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is a plus but not mandatory.
