The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing daily transportation operations to ensure on-time, efficient, and accurate delivery services. This role serves as the central communication point between drivers, customer service, and management. Dispatchers monitor routes, respond to real-time service changes, and proactively resolve issues to maintain service excellence for Optima’s customers.

Coordinate and assign delivery routes to drivers to ensure timely and efficient service.

Monitor routes and delivery progress throughout the day using dispatch and tracking systems.

Communicate continuously with drivers to provide updates, resolve issues, and adjust routes as needed.

Work closely with the Customer Service team to provide realtime delivery updates and resolve service concerns.

Respond to service disruptions, delays, or route changes with quick decisionmaking and problem resolution.

Document and track delivery activity, exceptions, and service issues within dispatch and ticketing systems.

Ensure all routes are properly covered and make staffing or routing adjustments as needed.

Maintain clear communication with management regarding operational challenges and daily performance.

Assist with reporting, administrative tasks, and operational support to ensure continuity of service.

13 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or a fastpaced operational environment.
