We're looking for a driven outside sales rep who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and turning a blank map into a thriving territory. If you're the type of person who gets energized by the hunt — who walks into a cold account and walks out with a new customer — this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
You'll own the Greeley territory. That means prospecting and building your customer base from the ground up across the oil and gas, energy, construction, and industrial sectors. Hunting for new accounts is the priority, but you'll also be expected to nurture and grow the relationships you build. This isn't a ride-along role — you'll have real autonomy and real accountability.
- Prospect, cold call, and build a pipeline of new accounts across the region
- Develop lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business
- Represent Barnhart Bolt's full line of fasteners and sealing products
- Travel throughout the Greeley region and into adjacent territories (200+ miles at times) to break new ground
- Attend quarterly team meetings at our corporate office in Odessa, TX
- Work closely with leadership during your onboarding and beyond — we invest in our people

- Base Salary: $70,000/year
- Total Compensation: $100,000+ as your territory matures

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of sales experience in any industry — what matters is that you've carried a bag and built relationships autonomously
- Strong background in direct sales, deal closing, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and CRM system proficiency for managing customer data and sales pipelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Ecosystem (Outlook, Excel, Teams, ect.)
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree is a plus, not a requirement — we'd rather have a coachable competitor than a credential with no drive
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
- Strong communicator who can connect with anyone — from a field supervisor to a purchasing manager
- Comfortable with regular travel and occasional overnight trips
