Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey. Your dedication will help children develop essential literacy, numeracy, and motor skills through innovative lesson planning and hands-on activities. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods when applicable, to support holistic child development
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills development
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschoolers
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social interactions among students
- Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress, including standardized testing where appropriate, and tailor instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom activities
- Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and classroom observations to support ongoing development plans
- Foster a love of learning through tutoring sessions, physical education activities, and creative play that enhance cognitive and motor skills
Experience
- Prior classroom management experience in a preschool or daycare setting is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience working with children across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for early childhood education environments
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management techniques preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for continuous learning is key
