Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Fulfillment Data Entry Clerk to join our warehouse team in Newburgh, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate inventory data entry, processing order fulfillment records, updating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ensuring seamless communication between warehouse operations and office systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record receiving logs, shipping manifests, stock movements, and inventory adjustments in our internal inventory system and WMS.
- Verify outgoing customer orders against physical packing slips to ensure item accuracy, quantity match, and correct shipping documentation.
- Enter tracking numbers, print shipping labels, and generate packing lists for daily outbound parcel and freight shipments.
- Assist warehouse leadership by flagging discrepancies in stock levels, missing items, or damaged shipments and running daily operational reports.
- Maintain open lines of communication with warehouse supervisors, customer service, and management to resolve order exceptions quickly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, inventory clerk, or administrative support roles within a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.
- Fast and accurate data entry/typing skills (numeric key/10-key proficiency). Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Netsuite, Veeqo and ShipStation a plus.
- High level of precision when checking part numbers, quantities, and shipping addresses.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting, sit/stand for extended periods, and perform occasional lightweight lifting (up to 25 lbs) as needed.
