Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change.
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with stocking the food preparation area, bussing tables, and setting up dining areas.
Experience
- No previous experience in food service necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport quickly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is ideal.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks are essential for accuracy.
