Symphony Risk Solutions, LLC is seeking an Associate to work with our Small Group clients within Symphony Consulting, our employee benefits consulting business. This individual serves as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of small group clients, providing exceptional service, leading the annual renewal process, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience throughout the year.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, client-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of client relationships.
This is a HYBRIB position in our Richardson, TX office (after applicable training).
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Qualifications:

Active resident Life & Health Insurance license.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant industry experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 5 years of employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or related industry experience.
- Experience managing employer-sponsored health and welfare benefit plans.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with BenefitPoint or similar agency management systems preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a workstation and operate a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and lifting of up to 10 pounds may be required. The ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone is essential.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement following applicable training.
Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to support client deadlines and business needs.
Travel
Limited travel may be required for client meetings, team meetings, or company events.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for an assigned portfolio of small group clients ranging from 2 to 100 employees.

Own the overall client relationship, serving as the single point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
- Lead the annual renewal process, including gathering renewal data, reviewing plan options, preparing comparisons, coordinating carrier negotiations, and supporting contribution modeling.
- Manage ongoing client service activities, responding promptly to client and employee inquiries while ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate plan changes, implementations, enrollments, eligibility updates, billing changes, and carrier onboarding activities.
- Prepare and deliver client materials including renewal presentations, plan summaries, open enrollment communications, and implementation documents.
- Manage carrier relationships throughout the year, including quoting, policy updates, billing issues, eligibility audits, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within internal systems to ensure data integrity, compliance, and a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality service aligned with Symphony's operating model.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and proactively communicate recommendations throughout the year.
Participate in special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
