Express Employment Professionals is hiring a General Assembly/Operator for a precision manufacturing company in the Flathead Valley.
Position: General Assembly / Operator
Pay: $20/hr
Location: Flathead Valley
What You’ll Do
- Select, position, and secure tools in holders
- Position and secure workpieces in fixtures, chucks, or machine tables
- Adjust controls to set feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
- Operate bench grinders to sharpen tools
- Run various machines and equipment beyond standard machine tools
- Grind, sand, clean, or polish parts to correct defects or prep for finishing
- Ensure all parts meet quality and specification standards
What You Bring
- Basic mechanical and metalworking skills
- Understanding of firearm operation (preferred)
- Ability to use drills, grinders, mills, lathes, and other metalworking tools
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Experience
- Machine operator experience not required
- Must be mechanically inclined with previous metalworking experience
- Experience working in stock molds is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
