Automotive Service Advisor/Assistant – Schmelz Countryside Alfa Romeo & Fiat (Maplewood, MN)
Schmelz Countryside has an opportunity for a motivated, organized and customer focused Service Advisor/Assistant to join our team. This position supports our service advisor by providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle intake and delivery, assist with scheduling and submission of warranty claims to the manufacturer for reimbursement. OVERVIEW:
- Greet Customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of their vehicle
- Book future appointments over the phone or email, relaying current maintenance requirements and needs as well as translating customer reported issues and requests.
- Translate customer-reported problems to actionable work order lines for technicians
- Ensure work provided to customer vehicles meets quality standards
- Document sales and customer approvals for repair work and maintenance.
- Review repair order documentation for accuracy while meeting all requirements for manufacturer warranty claim submissions.
- Posting warranty credit notes weekly
- Review submitted claims and making necessary adjustments for approval daily
- Invoice technician time and charges on repair orders in accordance with documented customer approvals.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding service and involve management when necessary
- Maintain customer records and enter current data into databases
- Sell Parts and Labor through diagnosis, repairs and factory required maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
