Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane systems safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems, and ensuring proper storage of materials.
- Prepare orders for shipping by packing items securely, labeling packages correctly, and verifying order details against purchase records.
- Assist with shipping & receiving tasks including loading trucks, unloading incoming shipments, and documenting all inbound and outbound freight.
- Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies during all manual handling and equipment operation activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related logistics roles, with familiarity in warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Skilled in using materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, crane systems, and RF scanners.
- Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and manual handling throughout shifts.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring dimensions, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards; mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail under time constraints.
