In this vital role, you will assist with animal husbandry, feed management, equipment operation, and general maintenance tasks to ensure healthy animals and efficient feedlot processes. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to a safe, productive environment focused on animal care and operational excellence. Excellent Verbal communication skills are a requirement.
Duties
- Assist with daily animal handling, feeding, watering, and monitoring to promote optimal health and growth.
- Support with livestock health checks, vaccinations, and record-keeping to ensure proper animal husbandry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of pens, facilities, and work areas to uphold biosecurity and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and livestock handling techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
