Essential Job Functions:
- Increase sales and meet or exceed mobile unit productivity goals
- Promote and secure orders from existing customers through a relationship-based approach
- Understand the mobile retail concept and adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their specific needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate products and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs
- Facilitate orders, receive shipments, and organize inventory for upcoming visits
- Coordinate inventory pickup and loading for same-day customer appointments
- Assist customers with product information, purchases, and transactions
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
- Process sales and returns accurately and efficiently
- Utilize effective selling techniques to engage customers and present solutions
- Set up displays and manage inventory at client locations
- Ensure the safety and security of the mobile retail truck
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience driving a 26-foot truck or similar vehicle
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 2+ years of retail, customer service, or delivery experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proven sales performance and customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships and drive in-person sales
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Requirements:
- Based in or near Orland Park, Illinois
- Willingness to travel locally to customer sites
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional overnight travel
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
