Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell menu items, wine pairings, cocktails, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing, and stocking supplies as needed to support kitchen staff
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
