Position Type: Direct Hire after 3 -6 months contract period
Salary: 115K - $120K + Target 5% REP, potentially negotiable based upon location

Location: Must be local to near any of the bank’s IT footprint location
Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite, 2 days/week remote
AI Engineer: Build a scalable AI support model, transition Participant Notice to Commercial IT, and deliver GCP agents ready for production in Q4.
This role focuses on hands-on development of integrations, APIs, and AI-driven solutions using modern cloud technologies like GCP. The engineer will work on building and supporting AI-enabled applications, learning prompt engineering, and contributing to scalable solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment. The role includes supporting AI agents, developing basic prompt patterns, and collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams (architecture, cloud, governance) to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
Required Skills
- Basic Prompt Engineering & AI Model Integration
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and agent-based systems
- API Development & Integration
- Cloud fundamentals (GCP preferred – Cloud Run, basics of Azure/AWS)
- Event-driven architecture basics (Pub/Sub)
- CI/CD fundamentals
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
2–4 years of software development experience
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of API and backend development
Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled applications
Experience or familiarity with GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run) or similar platforms
Understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud deployments
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support AI-enabled applications, APIs, and automation solutions
Assist in building AI agents, workflows, and prompt patterns
Contribute to prototypes and reusable components
Support backend service and API development
Assist in implementing event-driven solutions and CI/CD pipelines
Integrate with enterprise systems following secure coding practices
Collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions and learn best practices
