Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in toddlers. You will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities, managing classroom routines, and building positive relationships with children and their families to support their growth and well-being.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and creativity.
- Manage daily routines including diapering, nap times, meal times, and transitions with patience and consistency.
- Use behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and address challenges effectively.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and special education strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Requirements

- Strong work ethic
- Prior experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential.
- Knowledge of child development principles, early intervention techniques, and childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management strategies, and standardized testing methods for early learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
- Experience teaching physical education or implementing Montessori methods is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that foster literacy education, math skills, social-emotional growth, and physical activity within a toddler-focused environment.
