EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - RECYCLING FACILITY – DAYS - WAUKESHA
Your FULL-TIME WEEKDAYS will be spent operating a variety of equipment including skid steers, forklifts and our baler as you process and stage recyclables like paper, cardboard and metals. If you enjoy fast paced environments where no two days in a row are quite the same, this may be of interest to you.
We are working 5 am - 5 pm with the opportunity to work a 9- or 10-hour shift within that timeframe, providing regular overtime during your Monday through Friday work schedule. We are a smaller teamwork environment with work throughout the year (not seasonal).
Responsibilities
· You will be trained in the operation of our recyclable material baler allowing you to learn all parts of loading, monitoring and moving bales of recyclable materials throughout our warehouse operation.
Job Essentials
· 2 years of previous SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT, SKID STEER and/or BALER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, to train in this role. We will REQUIRE DURING OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS that you DEMONSTRATE YOUR FORKLIFTING and/or SKID STEER OPERATION abilities in our environment to provide a realistic job preview.
· Successful candidates for this position will possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong safety awareness and reliability will be essential in this role.
