In Touch Properties is seeking a dependable, organized, and personable employee to support a busy residential property-management office.
This position includes leasing, applicant processing, lease renewals, tenant communication, insurance management, inspections, maintenance coordination, billing follow-up, and general office support. The right person must communicate well, stay organized, follow through consistently, and be comfortable working both in the office and in the field.
Previous leasing or property-management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a dependable candidate with strong computer, customer-service, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process rental applications, verify information, and communicate approvals, denials, and missing requirements
- Prepare leases, renewals, notices, and other resident documents
- Track upcoming lease expirations and complete renewals on time
- Manage resident insurance requirements, including verification, follow-up, documentation, and notices for missing or expired coverage
- Answer incoming calls and assist tenants, applicants, owners, vendors, and coworkers
- Follow up with prospective tenants and help move qualified applicants through the leasing process
- Perform move-out, occupied-property, and move-in readiness inspections
- Take photographs and prepare clear inspection notes
- Receive, prioritize, dispatch, and follow up on maintenance requests
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors
- Track invoices, repairs, projects, and incomplete documentation
- Maintain accurate records in property-management software
- Participate in a rotating, phone-based weekend maintenance-dispatch schedule, generally one weekend per month
- Drive to rental properties throughout Valdosta and surrounding areas as needed
Qualifications
- Strong attendance, punctuality, communication, and follow-through
- General computer proficiency and willingness to learn property-management software
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
- Comfortable handling difficult tenant and applicant conversations
- Comfortable entering occupied homes, taking photographs, and documenting property conditions
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Personal cell phone available for reasonable work-related communication
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous leasing, property-management, maintenance-coordination, inspection, or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with AppFolio, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (excel/word), or AI tools is helpful but not required
Compensation and Benefits
- $16.00–$19.00 per hour based on relevant experience
