MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of accredited college, university or school of nursing

Current license or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Texas; CPR (BLS)

NIH Stroke Certification 90 days from date of hire (except Pediatric and Nursery)

ACLS certification biannually for Emergency Dept., Cardiac Cath Lab, PACU, ICU and House Supervisors

NRP, STABLE certification biannually for Nursery.

All certifications for new hires/New GNs/RNs must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Current employees are responsible for maintaining certifications. All certification renewals will be completed prior to the expiration date.
