Job Overview
RMA Worldwide is hiring an experienced Gas Station Mechanic to support maintenance operations at our BP gas station facility. This role includes performing preventative maintenance and repairs on RMA fleet vehicles as well as customer vehicles serviced at the station.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and experienced in diesel and general automotive repair. Candidates must provide their own tools and be willing to travel up to 25% as needed to support fleet operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on RMA fleet vehicles and customer vehicles
- Complete preventative maintenance including oil changes, brake adjustments, and DVIR-related repairs
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify safety or mechanical concerns
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Repair and replace engine components, transmissions, and related systems
- Perform road calls and service support when needed
- Safely operate company vehicles for testing and positioning
- Follow safety and maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and reliability
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 3 years automotive or mechanic experience (required)
- Diesel engine experience (Cummins or Detroit preferred)
- Experience servicing both fleet and customer vehicles preferred
- ASE Certification (preferred)
- DOT inspection experience (preferred)
- Maryland State Inspection license (preferred)
- Must supply own tools
Physical Requirements
- Lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Occasionally exert force exceeding 100 lbs
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Handle tools and equipment daily
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Experience:
