Field Operations Manager
Qualifications:
*Experience in Construction Management in both commercial and residential construction
*Effective communication, organizational, and team building skills
*Ability to lead crew and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
*Valid driver’s license and have your own reliable vehicle. Public transportation is not sufficient for this role
*Must be capable of driving 24 foot box truck with crew to install sites (within 90 mile radius) on a daily basis between 6AM-6Pm (Monday-Friday)
*Must work 1 Saturday/month in 2026 or until we are caught up on installs.
*Some overnight stays with travel reimbursement are forecasted for larger projects beyond our 90 mile radius for later this year.
*Knowledge of Building Science a plus but will train the right candidate.
*Mechanical skills a plus
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Certifications Preferred
*OSHA 10 required, must obtain 30 Construction Certification within 30 days of hire. Company pays for training

Responsibilities
*We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee daily operations for residential and commercial install projects
*You will serve as the primary on-site representative, managing install crew and ensuring that each project is completed safely and according to job specifications
Daily:
*Debrief previous day’s job with crew
*Address issues and concerns
*Check weather conditions for next day’s jobs
*Review truck list to ensure all necessary items are loaded for future jobs
*Conduct pre-job briefings
*Assign job duties to each crew member
Weekly:
*Review job notes for current week
*Check supplies needed for upcoming installations
*Complete purchase orders for supplies needed
*Monitor work progress, resolve field issues and report issues to project managers
*Maintain safety awareness and ensure crew comply with safety practices and wears applicable safety gear
Company Description: The Insulation Man is NYS certified WBE company which remains locally owned and operated since 1975. We were the first Home Performance and Spray Foam Contractor in the Southern Tier. We provide effective building envelope solutions for new construction and retrofits of older homes and businesses within an 90 mile radius of Binghamton, NY. We offer technical assistance with home performance issues concerning moisture, heat loss, and indoor air quality. We utilize diagnostic equipment and decades of experience to find problems and recommend solutions. Once the problems are found we use spray foam, cellulose, mineral wool and other materials to repair faults in the building envelope. We work closely we our subcontractors to repair or replace HVAC equipment and distribution systems, windows, and doors.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
