Vanderhoof Sports & Wellness Institute is looking to fill a medical office assistant and social media marketing position within a small, but busy and successful chiropractor's office. The perfect candidate will work well with a team of doctors. He or she will have a creative eye and will be able to direct, film, edit, and publish our videos to our Youtube channel and TikTok. You will also be trained to assist in some hands on treatments with patients, cupping procedures, STIM treatments, etc. so ideal candidates will be comfortable working hands-on with people of all ages. Additionally, you will also be responsible for cleaning the office daily and act as an office/personal assistant and receptionist, so candidates must be organized, hard-working, and able to keep up with a fast-paced schedule.
Required Candidate Qualities:
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment: This office is busy, and patients are often scheduled back-to-back. Must be able to handle assisting the doctor with patients during busy hours, while staying on top of clerical tasks.
- Works well under ambiguity: During hours when patients aren’t scheduled, must be willing to find ways to help the office run smoothly, and update social media pages.
- Interpersonal skills: Our patients are like family to us, and we strive to make them feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door. Candidate will be in charge of making the office a welcoming space.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 per hour
