Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Designer/Project Manager to lead innovative interior design projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, lighting, and material selections, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand standards
- Manage all phases of projects from initial concept through construction documentation, bidding, and installation
- Prepare detailed drawings and presentations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and Adobe Creative Suite
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and fixtures while maintaining quality standards
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and contracts to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Conduct site visits for inspections, quality control, and troubleshooting during renovation or remodeling phases
- Communicate effectively with clients to present designs, gather feedback, and ensure their vision is realized throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques, color theory, lighting design, and interior architecture principles
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills in project management tools
- Knowledge of construction processes, renovation procedures, contracts management, and budgeting practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for lighting sales and remodeling projects
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration
- Familiarity with lighting sales strategies and the integration of lighting design into overall interior concepts
