This position is responsible for managing public art projects through the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs’ Art in Public Places Program. The Construction Project Manager coordinates with commissioned artists, County departments, community stakeholders, design professionals, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful development and implementation of public art projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing all phases of project development, design, fabrication, permitting, construction coordination, installation, and final completion. This position involves working at the intersection of the arts, balancing industry standards with creative vision and an appreciation for the arts. Additionally, the incumbent in this position will oversee multiple projects, handle competing schedules and budgets, as well as contracts, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
