AREA SALES MANAGER NEEDED IN FARMERS BRANCH, TX 75234
PAY: $110,000-120,000/year
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum equivalent experience required
Minimum of 5 years new home sales experience required
Minimum of 2 years Management experience required, with focus on sales coaching and training preferred
Active state Real Estate License Required
Valid Drivers License required
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM and other systems
Business minded sales professional that is knowledgeable and understands establishing and achieving sales goals and budgets
Strong coaching and mentoring skills,
Adept at building trusting, professional relationships with prospective homebuyers in order to procure sales
High energy, outgoing, professional demeanor
Excellent Communication (written and verbal) skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience managing and mentoring salespeople in a larger – national home builder environment
Job Description
Conducts competitive market analysis by monitoring local housing trends, pricing strategies, product offerings, sales activity, incentives, lot premiums, and buyer demand within the division's market area.
Partners with internal stakeholders and external consultants to perform market research and evaluate opportunities, risks, and changing market conditions.
Collaborates with sales leadership to develop and execute divisional sales strategies, business plans, and operational objectives.
Identifies, attracts, and develops top sales talent through networking, industry outreach, and strategic recruiting efforts.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops sales professionals and support staff to build a high-performing sales organization.
Develops and oversees team recognition programs, performance incentives, and sales contests designed to drive engagement and results.
Establishes clear performance expectations and accountability measures for sales team members, ensuring alignment with divisional sales goals and business objectives.
Conducts regular coaching, performance reviews, and development discussions to support continuous improvement and professional growth.
Oversees customer relationship management (CRM) processes and drives consistent adoption and utilization across the sales team.
Provides ongoing coaching through training, mentorship, role-playing, and performance management practices.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
