The Job Responsibilities –
This administrative support position is part-time, from 15 - 20 hours per week. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm, but there is potential for flexibility. There are projects that occur on a quarterly basis that may require up to 20 hours per week, while the remaining weeks/months may require fewer hours per week.
- Provide clients with five-star client experiences; develop rapport and be an advocate for them
- Manage both outgoing and incoming calls to/from clients
- Prepare and process account applications and paperwork accurately and timely
- Follow up with clients on their service needs and questions; interface with broker-dealer and vendors as needed
- Document activities, tasks, transactions; keep files organized; maintain your own calendar
- Assist with sending client emails
Key requirements –
- 2+ years of college; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 2+years prior administrative/client service experience in the financial services industry; preferably supporting a financial advisor and working directly with clients.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of total work experience
- Excellent math skills; verbal and written communication skills; as well as critical thinking skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word, PowerPoint (flow charts) and Outlook
- Strong computer aptitude; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with financial systems is a plus (we use Docusign and Adobe)
