Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter/Foreman to lead and execute a wide range of remodeling projects with precision and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee residential carpentry tasks, manage on-site teams, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive remodeling experience (frame to finish), strong leadership abilities, and a passion for craftsmanship.
Duties
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on various construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, to accurately execute framing, trim, siding, cabinetry, roofing, and other carpentry tasks
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and framing techniques
- Oversee and install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, moldings, and other finishing elements in residential settings
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to meet project timelines while maintaining quality standards
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for concrete forming, rebar installation, drywall, roofing repairs, flooring installation (tile laying), electrical work integration, plumbing tasks, masonry work
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in complete remodeling,blueprint reading, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, roofing, siding installation, cabinetry installation, door and window installation, flooring installation (tile & wood), drywall
- Knowledge of construction plans and technical drawings
- Extensive hands-on experience with hand tools; proficiency with power tools for woodworking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; experience with concrete forming and rebar installation preferred
- Knowledge of electrical experience related to fixture installation or electrical systems integration is Excellent
- Effective communication skills; capable of coordinating multiple tradespeople while following plans
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
