Perfect for retirees and/ or teachers! Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Driving Instructor and inspire new drivers to achieve their goals! In this engaging role, you will deliver high-quality driving lessons to new teen drivers, helping them develop essential skills behind the wheel. Your enthusiasm and expertise will empower students to become confident, responsible drivers while promoting safe driving practices. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive driving lessons tailored to each student’s skill level and learning pace
- Explain traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle controls clearly and effectively
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and attendance for each learner
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages questions, builds confidence, and promotes responsible driving habits
Requirements
- Drivers Education Certification. If you are not currently certified through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) we will assist you on how to obtain your certification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and extensive experience in operating a motor vehicles
- Proven ability to teach or train others, preferably in an educational or classroom setting
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback to diverse learners
- Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and best practices in driver education
- Experience managing students with patience and professionalism
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed behind the wheel
