We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and management of exciting community events and promotional activities. Pay
$16/hour + tips earned during your shift
Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including festivals, corporate promotions, fundraisers, and community gatherings with precision and creativity.
- Develop comprehensive event marketing strategies to attract new customers, increase brand awareness, and maximize engagement through social media, local outreach, and partnerships.
Event & Staff Management
- Schedule and manage event staff (“Krew”)
- Cover call-outs by reassigning staff or working events when needed
- Confirm event details and ensure team preparedness
- Maintain and update the master event calendar
Customer Communication
- Respond to emails for co-brands; Kona Ice and Travelin' Tom’s Coffee
- Answer incoming calls for both brands
- Schedule and confirm events professionally and accurately
- Post public event schedules consistently
Event Sourcing & Business Development
- Source new events through:
- School websites
- Facebook food truck groups
- Event platforms (e.g., Evently)
- Community calendars and local outreach
- Assist with monthly email marketing campaigns targeting:
- Principals & Assistant Principals
- Coaches
- PTO/PTA organizations
- Boosters
- School administrators
Marketing & Social Media
- Post to social media 2–3 times per week
- Promote public events
- Support brand awareness and community engagement
Inventory & Operational Oversight
- Track and manage supply inventory
- Restock supplies as needed, including:
- Tulip cups, cups, lids
- Spoons, straws, napkins
- Add-ons
- Paper towels, trash bags, Lysol
- Coordinate supply pickups from storage (gas reimbursed weekly)
Mall Kiosk Responsibilities
- Ensure fresh water is filled
- Drain gray water
- Confirm flavors are stocked
- Load ice
- Verify all supplies are event-ready
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who takes initiative
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends required)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in event coordination, hospitality, food service, or administrative roles preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
