Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the implementation of patient treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions
- Conduct patient assessments, record data, and provide progress reports to physical therapists
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
- Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
- Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or certificate in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care
