Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled Photographer/Videographer to join our team covering weddings and corporate events. You'll be responsible for capturing high-quality images and video on-site, then delivering polished, brand-consistent final assets through full post-production. This is a paid position for someone who combines technical precision with an eye for storytelling, and who's comfortable managing client-facing work independently.
Responsibilities
- Shoot photo and video coverage for weddings, corporate events, and related marketing/social content, using professional camera bodies, lenses, and lighting equipment
- Handle full post-production: culling, color correction, retouching, and editing in Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, Premiere, and/or Final Cut Pro
- Set up lighting and compose shots to get the best results across varied venues, lighting conditions, and event types
- Operate drone equipment for aerial coverage when requested, following FAA regulations and site-specific safety protocols
- Collaborate on shot lists and creative direction ahead of each event to ensure coverage matches client expectations and brand tone
- Communicate directly with clients before and during events to confirm timelines, key moments, and deliverables
- Organize and archive all raw and edited files in an easily retrievable system
- Stay current on photography/videography trends, gear, and editing techniques
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience shooting weddings and/or corporate events, with a portfolio showing range across both
- Strong working knowledge of Lightroom, Photoshop, and at least one video editor (Premiere or Final Cut Pro); Capture One a plus
- Solid grasp of lighting, composition, and color management in real-world, unpredictable event conditions
- FAA Part 107 certification (or willingness to obtain) for drone operation
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable talking with clients, vendors, and event coordinators in real time
- Ability to work solo or as part of a multi-shooter team, often under tight turnaround deadlines
- Reliable, professional, and calm under pressure — event work doesn't allow for reshoots
