Electrical Project Manager – Electrical Contractor (Not a GC Role)
About the Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead complex commercial electrical projects—primarily data centers and mission-critical facilities—from concept through completion. You’ll be responsible for schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction while driving QSP excellence and mentoring the next generation of project leaders.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building projects—and teams—that set the industry standard.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in electrical contracting, with direct Project Manager responsibility
- Proven experience managing commercial electrical projects; hyperscale or mission-critical experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, specifications, and construction means and methods
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Experience processing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation
- Comfort working both in the office and on active construction sites
- Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and decision-making ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction management and scheduling software preferred
- High level of integrity, organization, and accountability
Additional Requirements
Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screening.
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Mineral, VA area prior to starting.
Physical Requirements
While much of the work is performed in an office setting, this position requires regular visits to active construction sites. The employee must be able to: Stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain on active job sites. Occasionally lift or move materials up to 25 pounds. Work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Maintain visual acuity to read blueprints, specifications, and computer screens. Communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone.
