Responsibilities
- Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout
- Prepare food items according to safety standards, including basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, and replenishing supplies
- Serve guests with a friendly attitude, answering questions about menu options and dietary needs while ensuring prompt service
- Monitor food levels regularly, restocking items as needed to ensure an appealing presentation and availability
- Maintain cleanliness of all serving areas, including wiping down surfaces, sanitizing utensils, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth breakfast service operations and uphold high standards of hospitality
Experience
- Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly desirable
- Experience in serving or catering roles that emphasize customer satisfaction and attention to detail
- Background in food preparation or banquet service enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrates your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
- Dietary aide or food industry experience contributes to understanding special dietary requirements and safe food practices
