We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to manage a caseload from intake through settlement or transfer to litigation.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing a busy caseload while providing outstanding client service. This is not an entry-level position.
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal injury pre-suit caseload from intake through resolution
- Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding treatment, case status, and next steps
- Coordinate property damage and rental vehicle issues when necessary
- Order, review, and organize medical records, bills, and insurance documents
- Monitor client treatment and follow up with providers regarding outstanding records and balances
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and medical providers
- Draft demands and settlement packages for attorney review
- Evaluate available insurance coverage and assist with claim development
- Track deadlines and ensure files continue moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation within the case management system
- Work closely with attorneys to maximize case value and provide exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Florida plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience
- Strong understanding of Florida personal injury claims and insurance practices
- Experience preparing settlement demand packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, positive, and client-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
