Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer, and working in collaboration with the Palliative Care Medical Director. Duties will include a blend of predominantly direct patient and family care/support and select administrative management including but not limited to budget development and monitoring, scheduling of staff, supervision of social workers and chaplains, purchasing of office equipment and supplies, metric tracking collaboration with the medical leadership on policy and procedure development and program execution. Participates in hospital committees as assigned and works closely with executive leadership and the medical staff on issues related to palliative care. Participates in regulatory surveys as needed.
Education
Master's Degree in Social Work Required or
Master's Degree of Divinity or religious study equivalency from recognized seminary Required
Non Degree Program Minimum 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education from ACPE Preferred
Experience
5 years experience or more working in the field Required
3 years experience in Palliative and Hospice Care Required
2 years experience in a supervisory role Preferred
Licenses
Adv Cert Hospice Palliative SW Preferred or
PA Clinical Social Worker Lic Preferred or
Board Cert Chaplain Preferred
