Step into an impactful role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade by providing speech-language services in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity spans the full academic year, running from early September through late June, offering stability and meaningful connections with students and staff alike.
In this position, you'll manage a caseload that covers the full school week, with hours from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll conduct up to 40 half-hour sessions each week, tailoring your expertise to inspire growth and success in every student you serve.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working within a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Genuine passion for helping students improve speech and language skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions across K-12 student populations
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student IEPs
- Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, and compliance
- Provide support, education, and resources for teachers and families to enhance student outcomes
