Title: Grounds Attendant Team: Grounds
Reports to: Grounds Manager Status: Seasonal
Summary
Works with the grounds team to maintain the facilities and grounds of Tweetsie Railroad under the direction of
the Grounds Manager. The Grounds Attendant is responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains restroom facilites
- Disinfects commonly used items
- Maintains cleaning inventory
- Removes debris from sidewalks and parking lots
- Notifies supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Attends all required park functions and events
- Abides by all park policies and procedures
- Demonstrates pride in the park, its mission, and core values
Qualifications
- Ability to complete assignments according to instructions promptly that fit management standards
- Must be 16 years or older
- Ability to speak and work effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations
- Possess high professional and personal integrity
- Possess a friendly personality and the desire to provide quality service
- Required to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift/move at least 50 pounds
