Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst II to join our Partnership Accounting team. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex Excel models, interpreting intricate calculations, and engaging with internal partners and stakeholders. A background in tax and automation technologies is a plus.
What you'll do:-
Build, maintain, and enhance Excel models to support reporting and decision-making

Apply critical thinking to validate data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure outputs are accurate and supported by underlying partner information

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve issues and create value
-
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual partner calculations and tax-related schedules
-
Document, monitor, and proactively recommend improvements to processes and controls related to areas of responsibility
What you'll need:-
A bachelor's degree is required with an emphasis in Accountancy or Finance strongly preferred

3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and financial modeling

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with partners and senior stakeholders

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
What could set you apart:-
CPA designation and/or public accounting experience is a plus

Familiarity with tax concepts and experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau) is a plus

6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
