We are seeking a dedicated Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at United Methodist Homes Wesley Village Campus!
Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of occupational therapists to plan, implement, or administer programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.
- Monitors patients' performance in therapy activities and provides encouragement.
- Assists in instructing patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
- Observes and records patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior and maintains this information in client records.
- Assists occupational therapists with implementing treatment plans.
- Reports to supervisors on patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
- Performs clerical duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- Experience: New grads welcome to apply
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $24.14 per hour
Work Location: In person
