Program Director – 6-Bed Residential Treatment Center (North Los Angeles County)
We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead operations for our 6-bed residential treatment center. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of Community Care Licensing requirements and experience managing residential behavioral health programs.
We are looking to move quickly and are prioritizing candidates who meet all required qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a 6-bed residential treatment facility
- Ensure full compliance with Community Care Licensing (Title 17 & Title 22) and applicable regulations
- Supervise, train, and support direct care staff (BHTs) and clinical team members
- Partner with Clinical Director on treatment planning, client care, and program oversight
- Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and team development
- Oversee documentation, audits, and quality assurance processes
- Support admissions, client onboarding, and coordination of care
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Prior experience as a Program Director, Residential Director, or Administrator
- Strong experience with Community Care Licensing and regulatory compliance
- Must be able to commute to the treatment center
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week + on-call responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Active California Program Administrator Certificate (PAC)
- Experience in a 6-bed residential or detox setting
- Experience working with dual diagnosis populations (mental health + substance use)
- Experience scaling residential programs
- Experience supervising both BHTs and licensed clinicians
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $80,000-100,000 (based on experience)
