Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to build a supportive community.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are age-appropriate and accessible.
- Address individual children's needs, including those with special education requirements or developmental delays.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- First aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor combined with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting will be considered advantageous.
