Parkside at Gainesville Assisted Living is currently hiring a Full-time Dietary Cook with Healthcare experience to join our dietary staff.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 12:00 PM-7:30 PM
- Every other Saturday and Sunday 7AM - 7PM
Job Description:
- Prepare food in a timely manner in accordance with dietary requirements
- Work alongside the Chef/Sous Chef in the kitchen.
- Follow standardized recipes in food preparation
- Inspect special dietary trays before service to ensure they are correct.
- May serve food on the food tray line.
- Supervise and/or assist in receiving and check in of deliveries of food and supplies
- Follow work/cleaning schedules.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe kitchen
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a Healthcare setting, ALF preferred.
- Must have ServSafe Certification.
- Must be capable of following written and oral instructions concerning specific methods of the preparation of foods and beverages.
- Professional and personable demeanor.
