Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to provide essential personal care and social activity services to clients in the Adult Day Care Center. This role is vital in helping residents maintain their dignity, privacy, and independence while delivering high-quality care and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and tolieting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and other memory-related conditions
- Collaborate effectively with family members
- Promote socialization through activities and 1:1.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings preferred
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is required
- Strong observational skills to assess patient needs and respond appropriately
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties including some tolieting
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence
