Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean dining area.
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure seamless service.
- Support food preparation and delivery by helping with plating, garnishing, and setting up stations.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including clearing dishes and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Help with food handling procedures to uphold food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when needed, ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing under supervision.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and assist guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or bussing tables.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience with banquet service, catering support, or hotel hospitality is advantageous.
- A background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can enhance your contribution to the team.
